Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of NEIL DOUGLAS BABCOCK announce his passing on December 19, 2022, at the age of 85 years. Neil was predeceased by his best friend and life partner of 51 years Henry (Hank) Bauer. He was always “the fun” Uncle and will be missed by his nieces, Stacey Babcock and Laurie Garrison (Rick)l and his nephew, Greg Babcock (Julie), and their families, and his honorary nephew and niece, Bart and Glynis Miller. He will also be missed by his trusted companion and fur baby, Sam, who is continuing to be loved and well cared for by his new Mom, Stacey. Neil was the youngest son of the late Lt. Col. Harry Babcock and Ruth Wright, He was predeceased by his brothers, Harold (late Minor) and Richard (late Martha). Cremation has taken place. Private burial at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Sandhurst On. The family wish to express our sincere appreciation to the staff on Orchard Trail at The John Parrott Centre for making Neil’s final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible through their exemplary care, kindness and compassion.
