Neelam (Leila) Smaddar peacefully passed away on August 27, 2022, at Maplevilla Long Term Care Home in Burlington, Ontario in her 83rd year; wife of Roop Avtar Smaddar and loving mother of Nirup-Jit (Neil) Smaddar and Sushma Rani Smaddar. Loved to granddaughter Jewel and grandson Anish.
Young Neelam will be remembered for having a witty sense of humor, helping in raising 7 siblings, born in Kanger, Punjab India on September 7, 1938.
She will be missed by everyone that knew her for her calm and jovial personality.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 6th at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Hamilton, 1010 Botanical Drive from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held following visitation starting at 11 a.m.
