Obituary
1930 – 2022
Neal passed away on July 29th at Kelowna General Hospital due to complications after a stroke.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years Cecelia
Daughter Susan & partner Kyle
Siblings, Peggy Carr, Cliff Arthurs (Irene), Alice Morris, Colin Arthurs (Florence), Vern Arthurs (Dorothy), Laura Duby, Helen Stretch, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Neal was born into a large family in 1932 in Loverna, SK.
His younger years were spent working on the homestead, being terrific big brother to his younger sisters and travelling with his brothers throughout Canada and the US.
Neal loved to spend time with family and friends telling stories of the old days and creating new memories. He enjoyed watching sports and nature. He loved to take many walks each day and spend time with friends over coffee. He was a kind man who made many new friends over the years.
We would like to thank the amazing team of Dr.’s and Nurses at Kelowna General Hospital who provided amazing care and support to Neal and the family during his last days.
A small private Celebration of Life will be held by the Family at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers we encourage a donation to your favourite charity.
