Nathan James Mousseau
Kah-Piitaa-Siket Pinayseh
(Coming Thunderbird)
December 2, 1974 – March 26, 2022
Nathan, Jamish as we affectionately called him, grew into a humble sweet man. Jamish blessed a huge family with his humor. He was born as the third child to Ron and Catherine Mousseau. Jamish leaves moments of cherished memories to his brother Ernest (Regina), sisters, Vicki Alexandra (Lucien), Monique and Rose-Anne, his Godfather and Uncle Robert (Lee Lee) and many aunts, uncles and his special friend Teri Hall.
Jamish was called home suddenly on Saturday March 26, 2022 to be with his mommy whom he dearly missed.
Jamish was predeceased by his mom Catherine, aunties Vivian, Donna, Mary, (Bopeep), uncles Arnold, Ricky, Clifford (Chubboy), cousins Clayton (Bugsy) Arnold (Smart), Alex (Smurf), Blaine, Tannis, nephew Pierson, Godmother Jeanette Houle, Grandparents Solomon and Gladys Houle, and Harold and Lena Mousseau.
Jamish received his teaching degree from the C.B.E. (Community Based Education)/PENT program at BU. He taught at IBMS, Ebb and Flow, and Souix Valley. He instilled the importance and encouragement of education and culture to his students along with his nieces and nephews.
Jamish enjoyed being outdoors as an avid hunter, and working on quads, skidoos or cars with his nephews. He shared his affection and humor by bestowing nicknames to many family members and friends. He loved to laugh with people, a strong value he shared, along with his many experiences and some made up ones. Jamish was strong in the traditional beliefs and would give thanks for everything no matter how small.
