Nancy Margaret Mary Mott Sylvah (nee Bennett) passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, January 27, 2022, after a valiant battle with cancer. Nancy was born August 15, 1950, in Sarnia, ON. Predeceased by parents Tom and Lena (Knight) Bennett, and sister Michelle “Mickey’ Fraser. Former wife of Dave Mott and Mark Sylvah. Nancy viewed her friends as her family, and she cherished each and every one of those relationships. She enjoyed getting together with her friends and sharing in meals, music and conversation. She loved singing and harmonizing with her friends whenever the opportunity presented itself. She enjoyed her gardening and spent many a day surrounded in the peace and tranquility that her gardens offered. She was an avid reader and she devoured the written word. Nancy was a spiritual person, and will be sorely missed. Many thanks to the staff of Bluewater Health CEE Hospital and Continuing Care in Petrolia who provided her with such excellent care. They are angels!
Cremation has taken place. As per Nancy’s wishes, no services will be held.
