In Loving Memory of Nancy Canard (nee Nebonaionoquet), 70 years, who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Monday, December 12th, 2022. Loving mother of Sylvestor (Sue), Jaime and the late Jonathon of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek. Cherished Grandmother of Ariana and proud Great-Grandmother to Mia Rose. Nancy had special memories with her husband Dennis Canard. Nancy is now reunited with her parents, Sam and Noella. She was a dear Sister to Bertha (late husband Dennis), Josephine (husband Joe), Cynthia (late husband Gabe), Greg (wife Connie), John, Eric, and predeceased by Welland, Mary Jane (husband Elmer), Fred, (wife Karen), Lily, Herb and Stephen. Treasured God Mother to Dennis Jr. and Roberta. Nancy will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and her “Besties”.
Nancy lived a beautiful and adventurous life with all her family and friends. She truly loved the outdoors by going camping, fishing and berry picking. She enjoyed going out to the Casinos, playing Poker, Bingos in her earlier days and of course, playing the Lotto Max. The Nebonaionoquet’s famous family dinners were always her favourite time with family. Being with family is what she loved most.
Our family will always cherish the fun, and funny, stories with Crazy Auntie Nan. We were so blessed to call her our Auntie.

Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-4; 6-8pm Wednesday and after 10am Thursday).
