Myrtle I Thompson 1938 2022

It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Myrtle Iona
Thompson, 83, of Upper Sackville, NB, on Thursday,
April 14, 2022, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Pine Ridge, NB, she was a
daughter of the late Lorne and Elverna Cail.
Myrtle was a member of the Middle
Sackville Baptist Church, as well as the Ladies Aid and Women’s
Missionary Society. After graduating from the Success
Business College in Moncton, she went to work immediately for T. Eaton
Company. After marriage she devoted her life to her family
as a homemaker and caring for foster children.
She will be dearly missed by her
daughter Ruth Ann Keating, Quispamsis; son, Dannie (Mary Jo) Thompson,
Sackville; three grandchildren, Heidi (Christopher) Mercer, Dalton
(Jasmine Poirier), and Logan; two great grandchildren,
Blaire and Fallon; siblings, Ronald Cail, London, ON, Ross Cail,
Sarnia, ON,Bill (Sherry) Cail, Moncton; brother in law Darrell Wilson,
Quispamsis as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband,
Clyde and sister Nancy Wilson.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of the Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). An Afternoon of
Remembrance will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm,
followed by a private family burial in the Four Corners
Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Myrtle may be
made to the Diabetes or Kidney Associations.
