Obituary of Myrna Doreen Thompson
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Myrna Doreen Thompson announces her passing which occurred on Saturday, March 5th, 2022, at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John on October 13, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Orville and Helene Lingley.
Myrna will be sadly missed by her children Doug Wright, Kim Wright, Mark Wright, Greg Wright (Robin), Rose Wright (Les), Jeff Wright (Bev), Beverley Wright and her grandchildren Victoria, Justin, Karissa, Sarah, Eric, Jennifer, Miranda, Tyler, Cody, Kassidy, Jonathan, Jessica, Catherine, Kristyn, Courtney, Allison, Emily, Caley, Rebecca, Zachery and Hailey, her 14 great-grandchildren, chosen daughters Jackie Savoie and Therese Wright as well as her late husband’s children Doug (Dana), Rob (Iris), Wendy (Steven) and families.
Myrna was predeceased by her husband Allan Thompson, great-granddaughter Lillian and by her sister of choice Marie Caley.
The family would like to say a special thank you to nurses Bev, Sue and Kelly as well as the other staff of Cedar house who provided exceptional care and compassion to their mother during her last days.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). With visitation on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM in The Brenan’s Chapel. Those unable to attend are welcome to view the service via Livestream by clicking the link on Myrna’s obituary on The Brenan’s website.
