1940-2022
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Myrna
MacLeod, 82, of Dobson Corner. Born in Cherryvale, she was a daughter
to the late Vaughan & Amy (Paterson) Black.
Myrna is survived and sadly missed by her husband, Stuart
MacLeod; her children: Rodney (Sandra), Terry, Jackie (Danny), Fabian
(Susan) and Lori (James); her siblings: Gwendolyn Keith, Marie Keith,
Beatrice Scribner (Clifford), Alta Tait (Robert) and Clara Boyd
(Ronald); her brother in law, Douglas Ross, Gordon MacLeod (Sylvia),
Allen MacLeod (Eileen) and Jimmy (Jeannie); her sister in law, Janet
Black, Carol Mullins, Judy Mullins (Danny) and Krystal Lynn; her
several grandchildren, several great grandchildren as well as many
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Myrna was predeceased by her daughter,
Karen; sisters, Norma Ross and Velma Black; her brothers Wendall and
Reece Black; her brothers in law, Harley Keith, Walton Keith, Charlie
LeBlanc and her sister in law, Pearl MacLeod.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home (372-4800), from where visitation will be held on
Saturday, October 29th, 2:00pm –
5:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the Salisbury Funeral Home
on October 30th, at 2:30pm with Pastor Lloyd
O’Blenes presiding. Interment in Monteagle Cemetery will be
held following the service.
If desired, donations made to the Monteagle Cemetery or to a
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
