MURPHY Pierrette nee Benoit

We mourn the passing of a great lady at an age that we were always forbidden to reveal. A lover of antiques, Scottie dogs, cooking and especially laughter. She died on June 15th, 2022 in the home that she loved so much surrounded by her children. Elegant, stubborn, hardworking, intelligent and fiercely loyal, she is now in Heaven undoubtedly drinking white wine and walking along the beach in Green Bay, Nova Scotia holding hands with Geddy.
Pierrette was predeceased by her loving husband, Dr. Gerard F. Murphy, and leaves behind her children Kathleen (Erik), Patricia (Donald), Jennifer (William), and Sean. She was the proud grandmother to Tammy, Michele (Justin), James (Emilie), Andrew, Ryan (Abigail), Sarah (David), Matthew (Elaine), Sean (Samantha) and Kevin and a doting great-grandmother to Harper, Sophie, James, and Hazel.
The family would like to express our deepest appreciation to her loving caregivers who helped her during her health challenges and to her physician, Dr. Patrick Kilmartin.
We invite you to join us in celebrating her life on July 22nd, 2022 at 2 PM at St-Thomas Aquinas Church followed by a reception at her home at 647 Main Road, Hudson, Quebec.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to a worthy cause. We know Pierrette would have appreciated some help for the people of Ukraine.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of MURPHY Pierrette nee Benoit..
