Obituary of Muriel Fern Finkbeiner
It is with broken hearts that the family announce the passing of Muriel Finkbeiner (Duffield), on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Finkbeiner (1998). Loving mother to Brenda (Peter) Pedden-Boyce, Debby (Mitch) Fedorowski, Karen Finkbeiner, Jenny (Pete) Jansen. Cherished grandmother, loved by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Marilyn and Harold. Predeceased by her siblings Don, Ron, Harvey, Gerry, and Jean.
Muriel will always be remembered as a kind-hearted and loving woman who would strike up a conversation with anyone. Her intentions were always pure, and she loved her family so dearly. Her family was everything to her and she meant the world to her family. She enjoyed travelling, writing, poetry, her gardening, crocheting, knitting and was an avid Blue Jays fan!
A special thank-you to Dr. Perkin and the nursing staff on the second floor at the Strathroy Hospital for all their compassionate care.
A visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Denning’s on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 11:00 am. A Private Graveside will be held at Strathroy Cemetery.
