Aged 50 years old passed away on Wednesday November 9th 2022 at Thompson General Hospital with family and friends by her side.
Muriel was born August 31st 1972 in Thompson, MB to her parents William Dorion and Edna Pronteau. She was common-law with Scott Demeria and they had 3 children together; Savannah, Shyanne and Keith.
Muriel attended school at R.D. Parker Collegiate in Thompson, Manitoba. She worked at Mystery Lake and Meridian Hotel as a chambermaid. She also worked at an outpost camp as a cooks helper. She mostly was a homemaker for her common-law Scott and her 3 children.
She loved playing playing cards, Yahtzee, Dice and bingo with her family and friends. She loved to joke around and laugh with them also. She loved listening to music especially her love Rod Stewart. She will be sadly by her family and friends.
Muriel is predeceased (grand-parents) Lawrence and Lenore Pronteau, Baptiste and Veronica Dorion (Parents) William and Edna Dorion (Brother) Lawrence Dorion (Brother in Law and Sister) Nicholas and Marie Bittern (Aunts & Uncles) Harry & Leona Pronteau, Robert & Rosalie Pronteau, Joe & Edith Pronteau, Marcel & Florence Pronteau, Jim & Isabelle Pronteau, Marie Pronteau, Louise Pronteau, Pat & Rosie Reber, Phillip & Annie Brightnose, Tony Genaille, Jonas Dorion, Reggie & Jennie Dorion, Gilbert & Marcella Dorion, George & Flora Chartier, Mary & William Thomas Bittern, Alice & Joe Bittern, Mrytle Dorion (Great Niece) Aria Dorion and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Muriel is survived by common-law Scott Demeria, Children ; Savannah Dorion, Shyanne Dorion, Keith Dorion, Brothers and Sisters ; Marlene and Irwin Kehler, Mildred Dorion, Melinda and Jack Ducharme, Lawrence Dorion, Rudy Dorion, Aunts & Uncles Solomon and Carol Parenteau, Louie and Caroline Pronteau, Isabelle Genaille, Albert Dorion and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wake Service will be held at The Legion Hall in Thompson in Thompson starting at 7pm Thursday November 17th 2022.
Funeral service will be held at The Legion hall in Thompson at 1pm Friday November 18th 2022
Cremation to follow
Lunch will be served at The Legion Hall
