Muriel Arlene Murney
December 5, 1932 – December 31, 2021
Muriel passed away peacefully on December 31, 2021 at the age of 89 in the Last Mountain Pioneer Care Home, Strasbourg Saskatchewan with her family by her side. Muriel was predeceased by her parents; sister Wilmarie; first husband John Brunner; sons Larry and Wayne; grandson David; daughter-in-law Marlene; and second husband John Murney.
Muriel is survived by her daughters Linda (Les), Jocelyn (Bill), Corinne, Karlene; son Kelly John; grandchildren Jarret (Gail), Alicia (Shawn), Curtis, Terri (Rob), Susan, Dakota; great-grandchildren Braden. Eric, Chase, Dallin, Kristen (Cam), Ellie, Adelyn, and Dylan.
Muriel enjoyed family gatherings and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very happy to have coffee and a visit with everyone. A private family interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the Last Mountain Pioneer Home for the wonderful care they gave to mom. Memorial donations may be made in Muriel’s memory to the Last Mountain Pioneer Home Ladies Auxiliary.

Lord, then pick a bunch for me.
Then place them in my mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.
