Morley Allan Baker
1943-2022
Morley
Allan Baker – 79, of Kingston, passed away in Shannex –
Blomidon Court, Greenwich on Monday, October 24, 2022 with his loving
stepdaughters by his side. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late
Ralph Berry and Manola (Baker) Carter.
Prior to
retirement, Morley worked for many years in carpentry as a drywaller.
In his younger years, he was an excellent baseball player, and
continued to be an avid baseball fan throughout his
life.
Morley
is survived by his stepdaughters, Carolyn Landry and Neenie Landry;
sisters, Eva, Pauline, Phyllis and Virginia; special friend, Jessie
Campbell; several other stepchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great
grandchildren; as well was many nieces, nephews and extended
family.
In
addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving partner of
over 40 years, Ivy (Toney) Landry; brother, Claude; and sisters,
Helen, Georgie, Dorothy and Marie.
Morley’s family would like
to extend their sincere thanks of appreciation to his Blomidon Court
family, especially Bishop Lane, for the care and kindness he received
over the last six years.
Cremation has taken place and there
will be no visitation, by request. A private family graveside service
will be held at a later date in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery,
Kingston. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of
one’s choice. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the
