Montie Allan Hetherington, husband of Linda (Waye) Hetherington of Route 108 Hwy, Bryenton NB, passed away Sunday September 25, 2022 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 73.
Born in Newcastle NB, he was the son of the late Allan and Christina (Duffy) Hetherington. He was a retired Automotive Mechanic for Steve Williams Auto Repair and a member of the United Church.
Besides his wife Linda, he is survived by four daughters, Lisa Hetherington (Laura) of Riverview, Colleen Huber (Cody) of Bryenton, Debra Goodwin (Derek) of Renous and Terri McEvoy (Adam) of Quarryville, one sister, Doris Furlong (Sterling) of Quarryville, one brother Donald Hetherington (Bertha) of London On, 9 grandchildren, Adrienne, Paige, Nathan, Shane, Kristen, Shannon, Savannah, Emily & Erin, 8 great grandchildren, Sophie, Charli, Ashlynn, Kylie, Remington, Eleanor, Grayson & Jase.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, Thurman, Murray, Brian and Alvin two sisters, Florence and Violet and one grandson Dexter.
Montie Allan Hetherington is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Wednesday September 28, 2022 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday September 29, 2022 at 11 a.m. from Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Colin Holmes officiating. Burial will be at a later date at St. Mark’s United Cemetery, Quarryville.
