Mme Josette Lacaille Davignon 2022

Robertson D’Avignon, Josette ( neé Lacaille) Born in Montreal, 1921, passed away peacefully at Chateau Westmount on March 20, 2022. Grand-daughter of the late Senator Lawrence Wilson, daughter of the late Charles Lacaille and Gladys Wilson, Duchess Pini di San Miniato. Pre deceased by her three husbands, Reed Johnston, Donald Robertson and Guy D’Avignon, her brother Wilson Lacaille, son Reed Jr. and stepdaughter Susan Robertson Sorese. She led a long and active life filled with family, friends, dogs, horses, golf and skeet shooting. Her most treasured memories were of her many years at the Seigniory Club, Montebello; at Lyford Cay, Nassau; and at Hillsboro Beach, Florida. There was nothing she would not try her hand at, be it a sport, a game, or a new skill. Her marvellous smile will always be remembered by friends and surviving family, Joan Johnston, Marion Robertson Gross, Pierre, Nicole and Marie D’Avignon. The family is grateful for the exemplary care given by the staff at Chateau Westmount. Burial will take place later in the Spring at Coteau du Lac with a reception to follow at the Wilson Pavilion. Donations to the Josette Robertson and Joan Johnston Family Foundation at the Ottawa Community Foundation, or charity of your choice, will be gratefully acknowledged.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mme Josette Lacaille Davignon 2022..
