Thompson, Mitchell passed away peacefully on Saturday June 18, 2022 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in his 90th year. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Mary Louise (nee Purves). He is survived by his daughter Michelle (Dave) Gardner and son Tim Thompson (Brenda Scotney) and will be missed by all who knew him. Born in Toronto to parents John and Katherine, he was predeceased by his sister Helen. A private graveside service will be held at the First Presbyterian Cemetery.
