Obituary of Missy Hague
HAGUE: Melissa Anne “Missy”
Passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday January 11, 2022. Missy Hague of Peterborough in her 52ndyear. Missy is walking in heaven now free of her wheelchair. She will be remembered for the impact she left on us all as a loving and generous soul who was a good friend to many who supported, encouraged and made you feel better just for knowing her. Her advocacy work for impaired driving and smart choices impacted and inspired many to make good choices.
She is loved and missed by her siblings; her identical twin, Michele “Shelly” Hague (Ian Nichols), Jennifer “Jen” Bell (Maury), Randy Hague (Kim) and their family and Cindy Hague (Malcolm MacLeod) and their family. Also missed by her nieces and nephews Jack, Abby, Patrick, Teagan and Shaun. Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Jackie. Cremation has taken place. A private Funeral Service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield. Memorial donations may be made to Kawartha Food Share as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355. In addition, the family invites you to perform a random act of kindness in Missy’s memory. Pay for the person behind you in the Drive-Thru, buy lunch for a co-worker or give a stranger a compliment, all things that Missy loved to do each day.
