Kylee Fodchuk
July 27, 1985 – February 6, 2022
It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved daughter and sister Kylee Lynn Fodchuk, age 36 years, on Sunday, February 6, 2022.
Kylee was born in Thunder Bay on July 27th, 1985. She attended St. Anne’s School, Norwesterview School and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School. Kylee had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed singing in the St. Agnes Youth Choir and a jazz band. She also enjoyed many years of dance classes. The highlight of her summers were the weeks spent at her grandparents camp at Eldorado Beach with all her cousins and sister Ciara. She also enjoyed time spent in Fort Frances with her Grandma and Grampa Buffington.
She was beautiful inside and out. She was unforgettable in some of the best ways and was a force to be reckoned with. She was goofy and able to cheer anyone up, her dad even nicknamed her “smilely Kylee”. I don’t think there’s anyone she didn’t make laugh at least once. She made so much progress over the years. If her parents and sister could tell her anything, it would be that they were so proud, because we know it was not easy.
Kylee will be forever missed by her parents Mike and Jan (nee Buffington) Fodchuk; sister Ciara; Grandmothers Margaret Fodchuk and Doreen Buffington; Uncles- Mark, Alex, Bill and John Fodchuk and Alan Gibb and Aunts- Barb (Gibb), Jenny, Kathy, and Lisa. She will also be missed by her 9 cousins whom she loved so much, her cat Poe, and many friends. She was predeceased by grandfathers John Fodchuk and Larry Buffington. We love you always and forever Kylee.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Kylee’s name can be made to “Team DEK”, a foundation in the process of being set up for after care for women recovering from addiction by Carolyn Karle, would be greatly appreciated.
