Alissa will live on in our hearts forever. She has a lasting impact on her family, friends, and community. She will always be remembered for her ability to connect with others, creating laughs in any setting. She had her wanderlust and gypsy ways which took her around the world, on many adventures. Her motto was ‘por qué no,’ which embodied her YES mentality. She was a ski and yoga instructor, scuba diver, and golfer. She was always up for a spontaneous adventure. Alissa was a creative, kind and inclusive person who drew people in with her positive energy. She will be dearly missed by her parents, Linda and Philip, her sister, Christina (Zach), her party pup, Myla, and her family and friends.

Death notice for the town of: SCARBOROUGH, Province: Ontario
Alissa was nothing but generous and kind to me. I met her through my friend and instantly felt comfortable in my new setting. We laughed our butts off. She was inclusive. I will never forget how she went out of her way for me and it was out of pure kindness. There was nothing I did in return for her. She wouldn’t let me pay her back – she was happy to help me. I am deeply saddened that we all won’t get more time with her. Life is hard and Alissa was someone who understood this and showed great empathy to others.
Dear Christina and Family,
My thoughts are with you in your time of grief. I never met Alissa, but her Sister Christina is my Manager at MNP, and I have no doubt that she was as a beautiful soul like her sister.
Wherever a beautiful soul as been, there is s trail of beautiful memories.
