“Miriam” Della Elizabeth MacDonald
1939-2022
The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital
on Sunday December 11, 2022 of Miriam Elizabeth Della MacDonald
(Horne) of Sherwood, age 83 years.
Miriam was born in
Charlottetown, PEI to the late Heber and Erma Horne. She is lovingly
remembered by her children, Allen and Tracy Walton, Steven (Denise),
Tara Burrows (James), Tim (Charlene), and Kyle (Donna). Miriam is also
missed and fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Chad Rooney,
Heather McCormack (Kyle), Steven Myers (Lauren), Hailey MacKinnon
(Parker), Mason, Cody, Alexander and Avery MacDonald, Kayla, Jordan
and Sheldon Burrows, Tristen Bishop, Keegan MacDonald, Cassidy and
Gabe Quigley, Sarah Buckley, Lucy MacDonald, Dom Stewart, 7 great
grandchildren and numerous brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 38
years Gerald, sister, brother-in law and niece Joan, Percy and Joy
MacPhee, mother and father-in-law Ralph and Lela MacDonald,
granddaughter Monica Rooney and numerous sister and
brother-in-laws.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home
where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17th in
the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment later in Milton Anglican
Cemetery.
Visiting hours on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m.
