Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, March 28, 2022. Milton Ernest MacIntosh of Monkland; age 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Shirley MacIntosh (nee McGregor). Loving father of Barbara Macdonell (Dean) of Apple Hill, Laurie MacIntosh (Angela) of Guelph, George MacIntosh (Pamela Simpson) of Kanata, and Margo MacIntosh (Michael Duchesneau) of Apple Hill. Cherished grandfather of Kayla (David), Amanda (Andrew), Christopher (Rebecca), Rebecca, Ian, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Ryland and Finlay, and great-grandfather of Keith, Callah, and Cameron. Predeceased by brothers Keith and Lynden MacIntosh, by his sister Georgina Findlay, and by his parents George and Mary MacIntosh (nee Christie). The family would like to offer a very special thank you to Dr. Lucie Lajoie for her exceptional care. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am -10:30 am. Funeral Service will be held in the Zion United Church, Apple Hill on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11 am. Interment will follow at a later date in the North Branch Cemetery, Martintown. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations made directly to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital or to the Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Milton a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
