BUDD, Milton Garfield – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Milton at the age of 97, was the beloved husband of Doreen (née Borrow) in their 74th year of marriage. Loving father of Donna Brethour (Ross) and John Budd (Donna). Cherished Grandpa of Laura Nolte (Mike), Michelle Thomas (Lee) and A.J. Budd (Keirnan). Great-Grandpa of Joscelin and Carter. Predeceased by his siblings; Clarence, Olive, Cecil, Evelyn, Grace, Jarvis and Eric. He will be missed by his extended family and friends.
In 1948 Milton and Doreen bought his family farm, which is where they raised their family. Together Milton and Doreen, raised and showed draft ponies for 18 years. Milton was a proud member of the Welsh Mountain Pony Association and was involved with the Masonic Brock Lodge.
Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00p.m. and on Friday, May 6th, from 12:00p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00p.m. A Masonic Lodge service will take place prior to the funeral service at 12:45a.m. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. If desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Association or SickKids Foundation would be appreciated by the family.   1. My sincere condolences to Aunt Doreen and family on the passing of Uncle Milton. I recall many great memories on the farm with the family. He lived a wonderful long life and is at peace now. Aunt Doreen you had a wonderful long life with Uncle Milton and many great memories. Love and All the best Audrey Baker and family.
