Peacefully at Cassellholme on Saturday October 1, 2022, at the age of 93 years. For the past 75 years, Millie has been the beloved and devoted wife of Roy, who predeceased her on February 3rd of this year. They were married on December 7, 1946. Proud and loving mother of Linda (Roy Courchaine) of Thorold, David L. (Glenda) of Sunderland, Leonard C. (Lee-Anne) of Redbridge and the late Leonard R. She will be lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Survived by brothers Jack, Edgar and sister Jane. Predeceased by her siblings Beaulah, Hugh, Ken, Lorne and Ellen. Life-long residents of Redbridge, Roy and Millie raised their family there and operated Baldwin Bus Lines together for many years. In retirement they enjoyed travelling throughout Canada and the United States with their travel trailer. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday October 4 from 6-8pm and on Wednesday October 5 from 2-3 pm. Funeral services to celebrate Millie’s life will follow in the chapel at 3pm. Cremation to follow. If desired donations to the Phelps Vet’s Club, Phelps Golden Age Club or Phelps United Church will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
