Al Rouse – age 51 passed away peacefully in his home in Mascot, TN on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Born Milford Alton Rouse, Jr. on September 11, 1970, Al was raised in the Birmingham, Alabama area by his mother, grandmother, and the United Methodist Children’s home in Selma, Alabama. Al joined the US Air Force in the summer of 1990 and served his country proudly for 18 years. Al was one of the most charismatic and charming people, and rarely met a stranger. Al was an avid Alabama fan, had a magical gift for writing, and enjoyed reading. He had a zest for knowledge and instilled his love of learning and books in his children.
Al is survived by his wife of 16 years, Tiffany; daughter, Chloe (the apple of his eye); and sons, Tyler, Tucker, and Trevor.
The family will receive friends 5:00-6:30 PM on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Holston Baptist Church followed by a funeral service at 6:30 PM. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery-John Sevier.
