KAY, Mildred Irene (nee Hoffman)
On August 20th, 2022, in her 95th year, surrounded by family, Mildred passed peacefully to spend eternity with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Predeceased by her beloved husband Eldon Kay. Loving mother (mother-in-law) to Brenda (Michael) Ben and Joanne (Les) Bell. Proud grandmother of Sarah (Ben) Kiessling, Michelle (Mike) Gropp and Geoffrey (Nicole Stanton) Bell. Lovingly remembered by sisters Ruth (late Doug) Skelding, Eleanor (Jack) Duncan, Norma (Bob) Adams; and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Rose Hoffman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28th from 6:00pm-8:00p.m, at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton (905.574.0405). A celebration of Mildred’s life will take place on Monday, August 29th at 1 p.m. at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME “William J. Markey Chapel”, followed immediately by interment at Hannon Free Methodist Cemetery, 1967 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, ON (adjacent to Rymal Road Community Church).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kingsview Free Methodist Church, Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the wonderful care Mildred received from the staff of the Waterford-Kingston and KGH Emergency Department Section A.
