MIKE FROST
February 9, 1982-May 19, 2022
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that the family of Mike Frost announce his unexpected death at his residence on May 19, 2022, at the age of 40.
Mike was a kind and gentle man who will be lovingly remembered and survived by his mother Patricia Frost, his father Brian McHugh (Helene), his stepfather Gaetan Robichaud, brothers Bradley McHugh (Sophie) and Jordan Robichaud (Jovie).
Dear grandson of Frances Frost (Mike), Norm Frost (pre-deceased), Audrey and Hugh McHugh Sr. (both predeceased). Mike will be dearly missed by his loving aunts Cathy, Peggy, Joy, Mary, Lorrie and Barb. As well as Mike’s uncles, Bill (predeceased), Glenn, Jim and Ivan. He will also be missed by cousins Jennifer, Laura, James, David, Joshua, Karley, Madison, Sophia, Brooke, Jennifer, Jessica, Logan, and Lauren along with his many great friends and colleagues.
Mike was born on Feb 9, 1982, in Sudbury Ontario. Mike graduated from Cambrian College’s Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training program. The love for his community was demonstrated when one of his greatest accomplishments was fulfilled by providing emergency services to his community as a Firefighter. Mike’s willingness to serve his community was also demonstrated by the various occupations he held throughout his life. To provide just a few examples, he was appointed “Student Ambassador” at Cambrian College and held this appointment with great pride. Though Mike was humble, he enjoyed promoting events while working for “Big Daddy” radio station.
Mike enjoyed life through the love of his eclectic music choices and would often enjoy “jamming” with his brothers. Mike had a love for animals, having had many different types over the years. He will
be dearly missed by the “love of his life” his pup Abby. His enjoyment for the outdoors was displayed by having spent many hours touring the country on his motorcycle with friends, not to say that he didn’t enjoy the simple things in life like taking in the serenity around a campfire. One of his biggest enjoyments in life was making people laugh, he found comfort in knowing that his humour and smile could bring happiness and joy to those around him.
The overwhelming support received, and resources provided for the family by the Sudbury Fire Department has been greatly appreciated.
