Mike “Michael” Devine
1948-2022
Entouré de sa famille et de ses amis, à
l’Hôpital régional de Miramichi, le
vendredi 18 mars 2022, à l’âge de 74
ans, est décédé M. Mike
« Michael » Devine, conjoint
d’Aline Robichaud depuis les 38 dernières
années. Il demeurait à Lagacéville,
mais autrefois de Joggins, NE. Né le 10 mars 1948, il
était fils de feu Earl Devine et de feu Priscella
Boudreau.
Outre sa conjointe, il laisse dans le deuil deux
enfants : Michael et Heather (David); deux
petits-enfants : Meghan et Ryan; la mère de ses
enfants, Yvonne; trois sœurs : Johanne (Barry),
Marilyn et Cathy (Garnet); un frère, Alan (Rose); ses
amis : Arnel Robichaud, Norman Allain, Linda et Alfred Kenny,
ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs,
neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et de nombreux
amis.
Un frère, Richard, l’a
précédé dans la tombe.
Mike était bien connu dans sa
communauté pour ses talents de charpentier.
La famille recevra parents et amis à compter de
19h, le mercredi 23 mars, à la Maison Robichaud &
Fils, 50, rue Otho, à Néguac. Les
funérailles auront lieu en l’église
Saint-Augustin de Lagacéville, le jeudi 24 mars,
à 14h. Les funérailles seront
diffusées en direct sur la page Facebook de la Maison
funéraire Robichaud et fils.
Heures de visites: le mercredi 23 mars, de 19h à
21h et le jeudi 24 mars, de midi à 13h45.

Surrounded by his family and friends, at the Miramichi
Regional Hospital, on Friday, March 18, 2022, Mr. Mike
“Michael” Devine passed away at the age of 74. He
was the common law spouse of Aline Robichaud of 38 years. He lived in
Lagacéville, but formerly from Joggins, NS. Born March 10,
1948, he was the son of the late Earl Devine and the late Priscella
Boudreau.
Beside his spouse, he is survived by two children: Michael
and Heather (David); the mother of his children, Yvonne; two
grandchildren: Meghan and Ryan; three sisters: Johanne (Barry),
Marilyn and Cathy (Garnet); one brother, Alan (Rose); his friends:
Arnel Robichaud, Norman Allain, Linda and Alfred Kenny, as well as
several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and
many friends.
He was predeceased by a brother, Richard.
Mike was well known in is community as an honest and
meticulous carpenter.
The family will receive relatives and friends starting at 7
p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at Maison Robichaud & Fils, 50, Otho
road, Neguac. The funeral will take place in the Saint- Augustin
church in Lagacéville on Thursday, March 24, at 2 p.m. The
funeral will be live on our Facebook page.
Visiting hours: Wednesday, March 23, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
and Thursday, March 24, from noon to 1:45 p.m.

Canadian Cancer Society.
