Marks, Michael M. – Received his wings and joined his family and friends in heaven, peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Mike, in his 79th year, is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Lois (Stewart), his children Darren (Tawne), Anne (Bob), and Deb (Bryon). Loving grandfather of Danielle (Kyle), Matthew (Jessica), Dalton, Carson (Alex), Blake, Kyra, Hunter (Mikayla), Taren, Jacob, and Liv. Brother-in-law to Ken (Linda), Linda (Gord), and Joy. Predeceased by his parents Roy & Catherine Marks, his siblings Norma (Jack), Maye (Art), Gloria (Ray), and Leroy (Jean). Mike will be missed by many friends, especially Dennis and Laraine, as well as his nieces, nephews, and extended family. A special thank-you to the staff of Caressant Care Mary, Lindsay for their love and care. Mike touched so many lives through his many endeavours throughout his life. He was respected by many people in his career as a Durham Regional Police Constable. He will always be with us in our hearts, and he will be missed tremendously. Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Monday, from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church 40 William Street, Lindsay on Tuesday July 12th with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place at Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton. If desired, memorial donations to Parkinson Canada or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church may be made by cheque through the Mackey Funeral Home.
