Michele Leona Emard Sunday January 16th 2022

Michele was born in Oshawa on June 8, 1966. She passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, January, 16, 2022 after a brief battle with a serious health condition. She is survived by her husband Roger Morris, her sister Deb Emard and brother in law David Stokes. She was predeceased by her beloved parents Allen and Dorothy. In early life, Michele lived in Oshawa, then the family moved to Port Perry, Scugog Island. She attended RH Public School and then Port Perry High School. She attended York University and Durham College. She settled in Whitby, Ontario where she lived with her husband. She was a true friend to all who knew her and a mentor to all who worked with her. She had a love for camping and being outdoors. She had a passion for gardening which was shared by her sister Deb, passed on to them from their mother. Her smile and laughter could bring comfort to any who needed it. Her concern was always for others before herself. She would ask for all to live their lives to the fullest and take each and every day as a new beginning. Also to please move and stay active. Her passing has left an empty space in life now for all who knew her, but we can take comfort in all the loving memories of the time we spent with her. We would ask, if desired, to make memorial donations in Michele’s name to Lakeridge Health Oshawa or the Canadian Liver Foundation.

  1. Michele was such a beautiful soul and will be sorely missed at Maple Leaf. I am lucky that I was able to work with her and miss her a lot. I am so sorry for your families loss. We enjoyed many conversation about Gardening and food and she was always there to help anyone.
