Obituary of Michael Richard Donovan
Donovan, Michael Richard
It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Michael, age 42, suddenly at home, on January 5, 2022. He is survived by his precious son Evan Michael, age 10; his parents Rick and Barb Donovan; his beloved partner Jenny Setterfield and her children Mackenzie, Cooper and Nolan; his dear brothers Dave (Miranda) and Steve (Jocelyn); grandma Gloria Donovan-Bye and nieces Hazel and Violet Donovan. Dearly loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins, and his best friend Kep. Will be missed by Jenny’s parents Ken and Marg Renaud, her sister Tracie (Rod) and nephew Trent. Remembered by Evan’s Mother Casandra, her parents Bruce and Laura Selinger and the Selinger and Cleaves families. Predeceased by grandparents Peter and Trudy MacLellan and Ken Donovan. Mike was an employee of Brimich Logistics Brantford and formerly at Toyotetsu. Simcoe. He was a hard worker, a San Jose Sharks fan; loved his family; hosting pool parties; playing hockey in his earlier years and the lifelong friends he made through the BMHA and BCHL. A private memorial service will be held at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North on a later date. Covid protocol regulates that those invited must wear masks and practice social distancing. Memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Condolences and memories can be shared with the family at www.mccleisterfuneralhome.ca (519) 758-1553
