Obituary of Michael P. Papper
PAPPER, Michael P. – entered into rest at his residence on Saturday, March 5th, 2022, in his 85th year. Son of the late Michael and Theresa Papper. Beloved husband of 58 years to Nancy Papper (nee-Weir). Dear father of Michael Papper of San Francisco, Glen Papper of Belleville, and Susan (Chris) Annis of Burlington. Loving Grandpa of Hunter, Harley, William, and Samantha and step-grandfather of Taylor and Meghan. Twin brother of George Papper of Trenton, and uncle of Craig Papper. Michael was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, an avid member of the Quinte Amateur Radio Club, and a retiree of Nortel, Belleville. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be held at Queen of the Most Holy Church, 169 North Park Street, Belleville, on Thursday, March 10th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. (with visitation prior at the church, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.) Private family inurnment will be held in his hometown of Port Colborne, Ontario later this year. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, MS Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
