SHAWNOO, Michael David
Passed away suddenly on April 20, 2022, at the age of 36 years. Beloved husband of Hailey Matsi of 21 years. Loving father of Kyla, Bethany, Little Mikey, and Aliyah. Loving son of Murphy (Aaron) and Cheryl Shawnoo. Son in law of Cindy Matsi. Brother of John (Val), Troy, and Misty. Brother in law of Coby, Rhia, and the late Connor (Bob). Predeceased by his grandparents Murphy and Bernice Shawnoo, and Lennox Taylor. Survived by Helena Taylor, and Deb and Bear Milliken, and Jurgen Herrman. Michael will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Wake to take place at the Shawnoo Homestead, 9185 Centre Side Road, Kettle Point, beginning on Sunday, April 24, 2022. Friends and community members are welcome to attend after 4:00 pm. (Wake services to take place both Sunday and Monday 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.) Social Drumming to follow. Funeral Service to take place at Hillside Auditorium on Tuesday afternoon, April 26, 2022, at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Kettle Point Cemetery.
