Passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 13, 2022, following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 52 years. Loving father to Joshua Lagrange-Paradis (Kim), Justin Paradis (Dawn) and Isaac Paradis. Cherished grandfather to Maverick Paradis and Penelope Paradis. Also survived by his brothers Marc Paradis (Lori) and Phillip Paradis (Megan), the mother of Joshua and Justin Nathalie Lagrange, the mother of Isaac Liz Guindon and Isaac’s sister Justice Guindon, his aunts Fay and Nina, as well as numerous nieces and cousins. Also left to mourn is his best friend from day one, Jeff Portelance. The multitude of friends he had will miss him dearly. Predeceased by his parents Serge and Claudette Paradis.
Michael was devoted to his family. He loved them greatly and in return was loved. He worked as a miner for multiple years and had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed building things and loved dancing. Break dancing was one of his many talents. Michael was a strong and courageous cancer fighter who fought until the end.
Respecting his wishes, cremation will take place. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
