Michael Mike Glen Tuesday August 16th 2022

Michael “Mike” Glen, age 70, Debert, passed away peacefully August 16, 2022 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, N.S.
Mike was born May 18, 1952, in S.E. Surrey, England and moved to Debert, N.S. with his family when he was 18. He was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Phillips) Glen.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Pamela Glen, and Marcia (Larry) Mackenzie; grandsons Ethan Dawson and Deven Mackenzie; sister, Angela Glen and nephew, Tory Glen-Higgins. We can’t forget his precious guard cat Sheena, his constant companion. Mike was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Robert Glen and Roger Glen.
Mike was a hardworking person and a very skilled carpenter. He worked as a tradesman for many years. His most recent job was at Kohltech Windows and Doors in Debert. He truly enjoyed working at Kohltech, and all the friends and co-workers he met there. He always enjoyed talking about work and really missed it when he couldn’t go back.
He was a loving father and a good friend. He would always give a helping hand to those who needed it, and he loved a good practical joke or prank. He enjoyed the simple things in life. Mike’s favorite music was Willie Nelson and The Rolling Stones. So, play Mike a tune and lift a glass to toast his memory. Rest in Peace Mike, We Love You.
Donations may be made in his name to the Cancer Society or the Colchester SPCA.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home. 512 Willow St, Truro, N.S. As per his wishes no service will be held at this time. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
