It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Juski on April 20th, 2022, at Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born on February 16th,1948, he was the son of the late Michael and Annie (McLean) Juski.
Mike is survived by his dearest friend, Ann Lebel, his sons Michael, and Brian. Also surviving are sisters Anna (Cyril), Mary-Lou (Danny), brother Edgar (Lynn) and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by sisters Martha (George), Margie (Freeman), brothers Harry and Peter.
Mike was a quiet gentle soul who lived his life appreciating his wonderful friends. Thank you to Michael (Mussie), Georgie Byrne, Darby McAuley, and Colleen Morrison for your continuous care shown to Mike during his journey as well as a lifelong friendship.
A special thank you to Dr. Ellerker, staff, and the An Cala Palliative Care Unit at CBRH for your professionalism and kindness. Also, to McLellan Brothers Funeral Home for your sincere compassion during this difficult time.
Honouring Mikes wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A graveside committal service will take place in St. John’s Cemetery at a later date.
