Michael John Kerr
– age 59, of Bennett Bay, passed away on Friday, October 14,
2022 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born in Kentville, he
was a son of the late Wilfred and Mary (Pineo) Kerr.
Michael loved music,
playing the guitar, singing and having a good time.
He is survived by
sisters, Cindy (Randy), Bennett Bay; Sandra (Brian) Sheffield Mills;
brother, Gary (Pam), New Minas; nieces, Jolene, Lacey and Lorraine;
nephews, Matthew, Jonathan, Adam and Andrew; many cousins, special
family and friends in Alberta and Ontario.
Cremation has taken
place and there will be no visitation, by request. A funeral service
will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in the White
Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Maya Bevan officiating. A
livestream of the service will be available at that time. Burial will
take place in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Church
Street, Port Williams. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses
of Med A and B at the Valley Regional Hospital for your care and
compassion. You are appreciated. Donations in memory may be made to
Fidelis House or Valley Hospice Foundation. Funeral arrangements have
been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
