  1. My professor and long time friend, the inimitable force of nature Michael Brecher, has passed away yesterday. He was one of the most influential people in my life, a teacher unlike any other. He led a remarkable and prolific life, he was an indefatigable scholar, a tireless striver for peace. I am proud to have been his student, proud and humbled to have been counted among his friends.

May he now and forever rest in peace. His legacy lives on.

  2. A wise and caring professor who guided my academic development and influenced me more than any other teacher. He loved his work and was a real mentor.
He will live in my heart and memory and in those od others who had the fortune to be guided by him.
