Michael passed away in the arms of his loving wife Alaina on June 18, 2022. Michael was an
amazing father to Micallah, Kiara, Aidan, and Xavier. An uncle-dad to special nieces Skianne
and Tyanna Wright.
Michael is survived by his wife of 18 years Alaina Wright, children Micallah, Kiara, Aidan, &
Xavier; parents Russell and Ruby David (Upper Hammonds Plains), sisters Jenene (Sean) Cole
(Hammonds Plains), Tina (Winston) David (Upper Hammonds Plains), Renee (Nevada) David
(Ontario), Angie David (Upper Hammonds Plains), Donna Louise (George) Macri (Ontario),
Grace Clyke (Ontario); brothers Taurean David (Alberta), Tristan (Stephanie) David (Porter`s
Lake), Tyler David (Upper Hammonds Plains), Mikey David (Halifax); parents-in-law Raymond
and Elaine Wright Sr (Cole Harbour), sisters-in-law Angel Wright (Cole Harbour), Rayanna
Wright (Halifax); brothers-in-law Raymond (Lauretta) Wright Jr. (East Preston), Randon Wright
(Cole Harbour); and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was pre-deceased by parents Jean and Peter Reinberger; and brother Leroy Clyke.
Michael was employed by the Province of NS for 28 years starting at the age of 16 and over his
career many of his colleagues became family.
Michael was a jack of all trades and master of all. He was an adventurer, a traveler, an
outdoorsman, a gambler, and everyone`s handyman.
It hurt Michael`s spirit being restricted by cancer, now Michael is at peace.
Friends and loved ones can honour Michael`s memory by donating blood.
Alaina and family would like to thank the DGH 4 East nurses, staff, Drs. Cameron, Vantol and
Adeniji, Labour Standards Coworkers, and the Liscomb Guys for all their support and all the
family and friends who visited or sent kind words.
