Mervin William Young – At Elk Court, Brookfield,
Nova Scotia, Mervin passed away peacefully on Friday morning, March 4,
2022 in his 94th year. Born in Bell
Falls, Quebec, he was a son of the late William and Ethel Young. Along
with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth May and
granddaughter, Loni; three sisters and two brothers.
Mervin is survived by his children, Sharon
(Bill), Robin (Richard), Pamela (Lance), Gregory
(Lucie); five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; his brother,
Bill; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in
Harrington, Quebec. For those wishing to do so, donations in
Mervin’s memory may be made to Harrington Protestant
Cemetery, c/o Vera Young (Treasurer), 162 Principale, Grenville,
Quebec, J0V 1J0.
