ARNOTT, Mervin Wayne
Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his residence Nithview Community, New Hamburg. Mervin was born 78 years ago in Cedarville, Gray County, a son of the late Cecil and Myrtle (Ferguson) Arnott.
Cherished and loving father of Dwane (Lori) Arnott, Shawn (Silvia) Arnott, and Shain (Heidi Faul) Arnott. Proud grandfather of Logan, Dayton and Tanner Arnott, Richard and Dale Arnott, Justin Arnott. Mervin will be dearly missed by his brothers and sisters and their spouses Mary (Gerry) Maier, Ruby (Ivan) Drewery, Wilma Morden, Garfield Arnott and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father and mother, brother-in-law Grant Morden and sister-in-law Islay Arnott.
Mervin was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed his time fishing. He had a passion for cars and spent time watching Nascar Racing and enjoyed his time with his sons with the local stock car racing. Mervin also had a passion for horses and owned his own and trained his horses for Harness Horse Racing which he also had a passion for.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg at 11:00 a.m. A social gathering will follow in the waterwheel room of the funeral home. For those unable to attend a livestream of the service will be available.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted on behalf of the family to Nithview Community and can be done on the funeral home website.
