With heartfelt sadness, the family announces the passing of Mervin Merasty, on October 22nd, 2022, at the age of 70 years.
Mervin was born in North Battleford, SK., and passed away in Saskatoon, SK.
He is survived by his Partner Cheryl (Joyce) Larocque; Daughter Amanda Bear; Sons Clinton Sandfly and Wolfe Sandfly; Grandchildren Diamond, Ocean and 21 additional Grandchildren; Brother: Albert, Brian (Louise) and Noel (Bernice); Sisters Doreen Gladue and Sharon Merasty; Numerous Nephews and Nieces.
Mervin was predeceased by his Parents Noel and Mary; Nephews Darwin (Chip), Frederick (Yogi), William and Kenny; Step-Daughter: Edna Larocque.
Wake Services will begin on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Flying Dust Gym, Flying Dust First Nation, SK.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 27. 2022, at 11:00 p.m., at the Flying Dust Gym, Flying Dust First Nation, SK. Interment to follow at the Flying Dust Cemetery.
