LALONDE, Merita (née Hebert) – Mrs. Merita Jean Lalonde at Cornwall Hospice on Wednesday January 19, 2022 at the age of 82 years. Loving mother of Perry Lalonde (Claire), Rick Lalonde (Anne), Kevin Lalonde (Kim), and Todd Lalonde (Vicki). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Melanie, Daniel, Ryan, Amanda, Chelsea, Brandon, Chanelle, Danika, Reese, and Holt. Dear sister to Doreen Filion (Richard), Marlene Pike (late Stan), and Monica “Nicki” Besner (Roland). Predeceased by her husband Ray Lalonde, by her sisters Frances Laplante (Carl), and Suzanne Johnston (late Bob), and by her parents William and Jean (née Currier) Hebert. Cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 11:00AM. Those wishing to attend the service must RSVP below or call the funeral home for a reservation at 613-938-3888. Interment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
