Melvie Legge of St. John’s, NL passed away suddenly on August 30th, 2022 at the age pf 92.
She is predeceased by her parents Hannah May and Stephen French; sons Rosevelt and Carl Legge; daughters Gretta Legge, Roselyne Fudge; granddaughter Tanya Fudge and grandson Jeffrey Fleet; Husband Caleb Legge; Brother Harold French; sisters Jean Brookings and Winnie Tizzard.
Leaving to mourn her sons Roger Legge (Irene), Earl Legge (Wendy); daughter Bonnie Moss; Granddaughters Danielle Fleet (Warren) and Stephanie Pretty; Grandsons Freddie Fudge (Lisa), David Oldford (Ashley) and Adam Oldford; Great grandsons Christopher Fudge, Parker Butler and Reese Dehann; great granddaughters Tanya Fudge and Ruby Fudge; great-great grandsons Jaxon Hill, Bronson Hill and Griffin Quirk; great-great granddaughter Georgia Quirk and a large circle of family and friends.
Melvie was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul and a kind heart with lots of love to give. She worked very hard through her life to raise her family and her grandkids Danielle and Freddie. She left this world with nothing but beautiful memories and 92 years of wisdom to pass on.
Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, September 12th from 10:00am to 9:00pm. The service will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, September 13th at 2:00pm.
