It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, sister, niece, cousin and most of all dear friend, “Mel” on August 20th, 2022 at Health Science Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Melissa is survived by: her children, Chase (Beyonce) Burns, Lesha (Horace) Cook, Naturelle Cook, Reydan Cook, Surriah Cook and also her step-daughter Shandi Cook; her sisters, Leola Cook (Seth, Ryan Jr., Heath, Gilbert, Lincold, Sydney Brass), Jolene Cook (Sebastian, Shineese, Paige, Theius, Emberleigh); aunties, Bonnie, Jennifer & Lisa Cook; uncles, Wallace, Norbert, Edward, Dennis, Everett Cook; kookum Vitaline, Roderick Sinclair, Helen Stevens of the Bluff.
Melissa is predeceased by: her parents, mother Theresa Cook, father Eldon Quill; her baby Cyrric Jr.; kookum Albina; choom Rene Cook; great grandparents, Caroline & John Chartrand, Harriet & Angus Cook; uncle Stanley Cook; aunty Lorna Cook; nephew Greadon Beardy and niece Fiona Beardy.
