Joncas, Megan 1975 – 2022
It is with such sadness that we announce the passing of Megan Joncas on May 19th 2022 at the age of 47.
Born in Montreal, she died at the ex-Lachine General Hospital after a 5 year battle with P.LS. Megan studied at both collèges LaSalle and Charlemagne. She was enthusiastic about fashion and dressmaking and worked for 17 years in the retail industry.
Megan will be greatly missed by her parents Linda Letourneau and Pierre Joncas, her sister Danielle (James Arès), her brothers Olivier (Julie Montpetit), Andrew (Amy McDonald) and Jean-Pierre, her nephews and niece Edward Long Joncas, Takma Namiki Joncas, Charlotte Megan Arès as well as Christopher and Nelson Cleary, her long time friend Gaby De Bina, the Letourneau and Joncas aunts and cousins, family and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022 from 2 pm to 5 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm , and Monday, May 23rd, 2022 as of 10 am at the Yves Légaré Complex in Lasalle, 7200 Newman boul.
A funeral service will then be held on Monday May 23, 2022 at 11:30 am at the complex’s chapel followed by a buffet.
