Mercia Maybell (nee Stewart) Pierce was born on the family farm, Section 25-4-23 in the Winchester Municipality by Dand, Manitoba on February 10th, 1930. She passed away in the hospital at Viking, Alberta on December 26, 2022 at the age of 92.
She will be sadly missed by her children Daniel (Zaure) Pierce, Linda (Howard) Ganske, Gwen (Stan) Sugar, Maybell (Willy) Reber, Carol (Don) Simonson, Sandi (Darcy) Humeniuk; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; Siblings Matt (Jill) Stewart , Peggy Elder and Dorothy (Bob) Weitzel; Sister in law Margie Stewart.
Maybell was predeceased by her husband Reg (married 48 yrs), daughter Ella May; parents James & Maybell Stewart; sisters Janet (Dick) Lightburn, Betty (Joe) Donald; brothers James (Jessie) Stewart, Bill Stewart and Ted Stewart (Mary Ann); brother in law Jack Elder.
Memorial donations in memory of Maybell may be payable to Club 93 care of Vialta Lodge, Viking, Alberta.
Please join the family for a time of fellowship and light lunch to be served at the Seniors Center after the service.
