In Loving Memory of
Maxwell (Max) Baxter
1932 – 2022
With much sadness, we announce the passing of Max Baxter on Sunday, September 4, 2022.
Son of the late Thomas and Joanna Baxter.
Predeceased by Henry (late Maxine), Erling (late Margena), Helen Wilson (late Burton), Florence Blackburn (late Lloyd), Hugh (Grace), Melvin and Jimmy.
Max is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in Hilly Grove Cemetery, Assiginack Township, Manitoulin Island, on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11:30AM with Rev. June McDougall officiating.

A very special thank you to the residents of Manitowaning for welcoming Max into your community after the passing of his mother. You are all very special people. To the staff of the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, Max considered all of you his friends and family. He chose your residence because he admired your love, respect and compassion for your elders. You surpassed his expectations. Miigwetch!
Also, a special thank you to Jim Holt (Max’s roommate) and Brian Sprack for showing Max the value of true friendship.
