Obituary of Maurice Vernier
Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus after a brief illness Maurice Vernier of Ottawa formerly of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 57. Predeceased by his parents Maurice Vernier and Claudette Stokes. Proud and loving father of his two daughters, Audrey and Zoé. He also leaves to mourn the mother of his children and best friend Isabelle Leblanc. Dearly loved brother of Carole Massia (Ron), Rod (Marge), Linda (Alan Cummings), Brenda Hodder (Tony) and Gilles (Sarah). Predeceased by his brother Roch. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Maurice’s favourite hobby was his rock collection. He enjoyed spending time outdoors.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in the spring at St Grégoire Cemetery, Vankleek Hill.
