Obituary of Maureen Logan
It is with profound sadness that the family of Maureen Logan (Reevey) announce her passing on Monday, August 22nd, 2022. Maureen was born in Bebington, England on January 21st, 1939. She immigrated to Canada with her family at the age of 12, where she eventually met her husband of 60 years, Paul Henderson Logan.
Maureen’s passion was her family, Paul, Andrew, Heather and Peter. She was a stay at home mom while her kids were in school. Later, she was an administrative assistant for a local doctor. Maureen loved spending her summers at ‘the Lake’ (Washademoak), where she could be found on the beach or around the fire pit with her family and friends. Maureen was a long time member of the Carlton Curling Club, and also enjoyed bowling with the senior girls at the KV Bowling Lanes. She was also an avid card player, and enjoyed over 50 years of card games with the ‘Sunshine Girls’. Maureen was extremely close to her three sisters, Nancy, Pat and Wendy, and they made sure to meet regularly for lunch to catch up on family affairs.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the oncology department at the Saint John Regional Hospital and to the excellent home care provided by Cindy and Dawn over the last year and a bit.
Maureen is survived by her husband Paul, her children Andrew (Stephanie), Heather (Darrell) and Peter (Tricia); grandchildren, Carly, Maddison, Matthew, Lydia, Leah, Max, Hunter and Jackson; sisters Patricia Teed (John) and Wendy Klohn (Hans); several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. She was predeceased by her parents Gladys and Alexander Reevey; her sister Nancy Baxter and brother-in law’s Joseph Baxter and Brian Logan; grandchildren baby Joshua and baby Andrew.
